Kind. Excited. Joyful.
These three words aptly describe my #kyliecomptoncouples. They also perfectly describe Rebekah and Stan. These two have been amazing from the start. Rebekah has a smile that can light up any room. And the look on Stan’s face when he catches any glimpse of her is enough to make anyone’s heart melt.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember these two from their rainy Apple Hill session back in November. We got caught in the rain, but these two were TROOPERS! It may have been cold and gray, but you never would have guessed it from their faces. Nothing was going to keep these two from enjoying every moment.
These two also opted for a, let’s just say, warmer second engagement shoot. and Oh. My. Word!! All the heart eye emojis over here! We found some amaaazing sun light and rolled with it. My favorite part of the day was when Stan looked down at Rebekah. He saw the halo glow of sunlight around her hair audibly gasped. You guys, I still can’t get over it! He told her how beautiful she looked and a moment of pure genuine giggles and smiles were captured forever. I can’t wait for them to look back on these photos in 50 years and remember exactly how they felt.
Then, it was Stan’s turn. At the beginning of the shoot, Stan spotted a giant tree that had toppled over from one side of the stream to the other. With a twinkle in his eye, he asked if we could take a few photos with the tree. I looked at Rebekah and as hesitant as she seemed at first, she could tell how much he wanted this. So up on the log we went! Low and behold, I LOVE the images from the fallen tree! Stan gets all the credit for those.
It’s a good lesson, if you have an idea, feel free to speak up! You never know what can happen =)
Until next time,
